Details

One-Day Workshop: Positive psychology shows that people who experience high levels of personal meaning are happier, more fulfilled, passionate, and resilient. The call for meaning is an internal whisper, encouraging us to fulfill our deepest potential. Being mindful allows you to notice that whisper, and thus realize your sense of personal meaning and purpose in life.

In this workshop, we practice different activities and exercises taken from the Mindfulness-Based Meaning Program, which is the first comprehensive program to bring two important aspects of well-being together: meaning in life and mindfulness. As part of this program, mindfulness is used as a spotlight that sheds light on meaningful moments in our past, our experience of meaning in the here and now, and the purpose that would potentially provide us with a deep sense of meaning in the future.

This workshop would be highly valuable for individuals who seek to deepen their sense of meaning and purpose in life, and for professionals who would like to learn practical tools to invite their clients and students into a deeper engagement and knowledge of their personal meaning and purpose in life.
